Plan of the 9th green

The 9th - End Hole, 307 yards

A relatively easy par 4 if players avoid the numerous fairway bunkers. A flat hole with a relatively large green.

The line is over the prominent bush avoiding Boase and End Hole bunkers. The rough on the left is patchy heather which provides an uncertain fate for any victim falling within its clutches. The green is large and flat.

The fairway once consisted entirely of heather but was turfed by Old Tom Morris in the middle of the 19th Century.

Big John says....

For the drive at the ninth you must simply be either left or right of the two bunkers this leaves a straight forward chip onto a very flat green. Putt straight and you'll hole it !
