The 13th - Hole o'Cross In, 398 yards
Coffins bunkers guard the green on this longish par 4 requiring length for the second shot to the green.
The drive is to either side of the rather ominously named Coffins group of just discernible bunkers. A long iron or wood is required for the second, the intervening terrain making the judgement of distance difficult. The green is immensely deep but guarded on the right by two formidable bunkers. This is not an easy par.
Air photographs show an extensive field system buried under this huge green. It is possible that the early players selected disused fields for greens.
Big John says....
Aim down the right straight for the flag and always take an extra club for your second shot as the green is slightly raised.
